Throwback to 1898 on Route 66 — Arcadia, Oklahoma We made a quick stop at the historic Arcadia Round Barn, and it was absolutely worth it. If you're the type who loves to dive into every artifact and display, you could easily spend hours here.
This is a historic attraction along Route 66 in Arcadia. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily. Admission is free and you will find a decent size carpark in the back, just exit 66 a block or two over and make way to the back. There are public toilets available as well. The Barn was originally built in 1898.
Historic round barn on route 66 in Oklahoma. The downstairs is a gift/antique shop. The loft area is amazing, and still has concerts there. The person who created us upon entrance was very knowledgeable about the history of the barn. Worth a stop if in the area. Free to visit.
The Round Barn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is more than a century old. It is the only round barn on Route 66. Built in April 1898 by William Odor on his farm. Restored in 1992 by Luke Robinson, community workers and local businesses. We stop by after hours.
Getting married at Arcadia Round Barn
Arcadia Round Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Arcadia Round Barn
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Arcadia Round Barn — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
