From the reviews
I love traveling, meeting new people and finding exciting places to visit. I'm always taking my best friend along for the ride. We're pass holders with Biltmore and visit often.
I just loved the old barn and Americana. I grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm in the 70's and so much of this was still very familiar to me or reminded me of my grandfather. All of the displays are living and you can get up close and touch them all. Go watch the blacksmith create something, get up close to history.
Great historic structure giving the working history that allowed the Biltmore to thrive. I loved the barn shape and structure, almost like a fortress and they had a blacksmith demonstrating his craft.
A lovely barn constructed in 1902 for the Belgian draft horses who worked on Biltmore estate. It was used until 1954 and opened to the public in 2004. The barn now serves as a museum, featuring working Craftsmen, a gift shop and a seasonal restaurant.
Getting married at Antler Hill Barn
Antler Hill Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
