Cool place to photograph, especially around by the pond. Great place for events and activities as well. It is really neat when they open the mansion itself and allow people to tour through the inside. This happened during the annual car show at least when I was there.
We got married at the Allendale. For the reception barn and use of the house, it was about $1800. We had all originally planned to have the ceremony out at the gazebo, but when we heard rain, the staff set us up in a room of the house for no additional charge. We both were given one room each to get ready.
Such a beautiful place. The. Grounds are so well kept the staff is very friendly. Catered a wedding here and they allowed full access to their kitchen and also landed a very helpful hand. The 2 ladies that I had the pleasure of meeting , were very professional, friendly and curtious.
What a great venue for our friend's wedding. Beautiful setting for a wedding, special event or pictures. Can't wait to go back.
