From the reviews
Alaska Heavenly Lodge was a combination of the very best Hosts, resources, location and accommodations. 2020 has been an unpredictable and trying year for us all, living in these uncertain, difficult and overall scary days of pandemic.
We had an incredible time. Katy is a wonderful host. As soon as we arrived she met us and was most welcoming. Her daughter met my kids and they all hit it off and had fun. Only here 2 nights and gone during the days doing activities, but the rooms were wonderful. We rented the entire Mt Cecil cabin.
We booked Heavenly Lodge for a wedding venue. I can’t say enough about how happy we were/are about this decision! The lodge and the grounds are beautiful. Cooper Landing is one of our favorite places.
We have had nothing but stellar experiences with Alaska Heavenly. The hosts Katy and Brian go far above and beyond what they have to and are dedicated to facilitating your enjoyable stay. They've been incredibly helpful as we've planned our wedding and also extremely well-organized.
Getting married at Alaska Heavenly Lodge
Alaska Heavenly Lodge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Alaska Heavenly Lodge
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Alaska Heavenly Lodge — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
