From the reviews
What an absolutely lovely day on a beautiful property! From the spacious bridal suite upstairs (which the guys used!) to the stunning outdoor ceremony space and the cozy, well-appointed indoor reception area, the venue had everything we were looking for.
My daughter had her reception here, the staff is incredible , the food is great, and the prices are the best in the Quad cities for all that you get. Very very accommodating!! Our outdoor wedding was beautiful with all the wild flowers planted up and down the paths.
Prairie lodge did a great job communicating with us and helping my wife and I make a beautiful day for our wedding. They also dealt with our rowdy crowd and allowed us to handle things during the reception that would have otherwise ended the night early.
We had a grea time. Our wedding day was perfect. Dale is great to work with and is very accommodating. Highly recommend A Prairie Lodge to book your wedding!!!
Getting married at A Prairie Lodge
A Prairie Lodge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at A Prairie Lodge
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at A Prairie Lodge — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
