We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at 1cBarn and it was absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony outside, our cocktail hour in the front yard, and reception inside (about 40 guests total). The family who owns the venue is so kind, responsive, and easy to work with.
We had our wedding at the 1C Barn in early October and had a great experience there! We rented out their other property Badger Run across the street which was so wonderful and convenient for family to stay there. I would recommend getting additional speakers as the ones in the barn do not work well (one was broken).
We had our wedding in mid November and it was perfect! We had about 30 guests and the space was a great size for that many people. We also cooked the reception dinner ourselves and the kitchen provided most everything we needed.
We had our wedding at Alyce's beautiful venue on May 22nd of this year. It was truly a dream come true. Alyce and Andrea were very accommodating, responsive and answered all my questions throughout the planning process. We had a total of 65 guests at our wedding which was perfect.
Getting married at 1 C Barn
1 C Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
